How to use this workspace:

  1. At least one search criterion must be selected in order to perform a search. A "search criterion" is (1) a term you type into an empty field, (2) a criterion you select from a drop down menu, or (3) a criterion you select by clicking a checkbox or radio button.
  2. Click on any of the SEARCH buttons.
  3. You'll arrive at the Search Results screen, which lists all titles that match your criteria.

How to use search term(s) from an index:

The top left portion of the Advanced Search workspace has four parts:

  1. The index button
  2. The "Search on" an index column
  3. The "Search for" a term column
  4. And the operator column, which lets you indicate the relationship between the search terms from one row to the row below

Choose an index:

You can either type a term into a "Search For" field as shown below:

Or you can select a term from a pop-up index as shown below:
