How to use
this workspace:
Explain Boolean operators and give examples
of Boolean searches.
A search criterion in this workspace includes:
- An index abbreviation
- Followed by one of these symbols: =, < or >
- A term appropriate to the index selected (for a list of terms appropriate
for each index, refer to the Search
Fields Chart).
- And if you're combining more than one search term, a Boolean operator (and,
or, andnot)
When all your search criteria are entered, click the SEARCH
button and you'll arrive at the Search Results screen, which lists all the titles
that match your criteria.
Note!
If your search criterion contains a comma, apostrophe or wildcard symbol (?
or $ or *) or includes the words and, or or not, put quotations marks around
the criterion. For example:
ti=deeds "and"
data
ti=australian house "and"
garden
