What this workspace looks like:

Click on the thumbnail images below to view the Quick Search screen from the Home page. Quick Search is available from numerous other screens as well. The second thumbnail image below shows Quick Search from the Browse Search workspace.

How to get to this workspace:

• It appears on the ulrichsweb.com home page.
• It also appesars at the top right of many other ulrichsweb.com screens, including the Advanced Search workspace, Browse By Index screen, various Lists screens, the Search Results screen, the Full Display, and many others.

What you can do from this workspace:

Search for a serial title using four popular indexes:

• Title - ulrichsweb.com looks for all titles that include the word or words you've entered
• ISSN - Enter an ISSN and ulrichsweb.com takes you directly to the Full Display for that title.
• Keyword - Enter a keyword or keywords and ulrichsweb.com takes you to a search results screen lists all titles that have the word(s) you've entered in their titles.
• Subject - Enter a subject category and ulrichsweb.com takes you to a search results screen listing all titles in that subject category.

Note: A quick search returns all titles that match the Title, ISSN, Keyword or Subject criterion you've entered, whether they are an active, ceased or forthcoming title.

How to use this workspace:

1. Choose an index (Title, ISSN, Keyword or Subject) from the drop down menu.
2. Enter a term or terms into the empty field.
3. Click the Go link.
